The Facchini AM29 is a model of tanker semi-trailer (also referred to as a “tanque” or “bitrem tanque” in Brazil) primarily designed for the transport of liquid fuels like gasoline, ethanol, and diesel. It is manufactured by Facchini S.A., a prominent Brazilian company with over 70 years of experience in producing road implements like truck bodies, semi-trailers, and other specialized vehicles.

Based on information from Facchini, the AM29 tanker is designed for robustness and efficiency:

Capacity: It has a nominal capacity of 30,000 liters and a geometric capacity of 30,750 liters. Other configurations with 4 or 5 compartments might be optional, with the standard being 6 compartments.
Construction: The tank is a monoblock design with a polycentric section, made from LN-28 NBR 6655 structural steel (3.75 mm thickness for the body, 4.25 mm for end caps and baffles). It’s fixed to the chassis with high-strength bolts.
Fluids: Primarily used for gasoline, ethanol, and diesel.
Operating Conditions: Designed for ambient operating temperatures and a pressure of 20 kPa (Family “A”). The test pressure is 30 kPa, and the safety valve opens at 24 kPa.
